A new edition based on Sullivan’s autograph manuscript; edited by Colin Jagger. Sullivan’s manuscript contains both the original scoring and the scoring as he revised it for the 1884 revival (a second cornet and trombone), and the orchestral materials make either scoring possible. The available materials include this vocal score, a fully cross-referenced chorus score and a full score and parts. In addition, for those with limited space and/or resources, there is a reduced orchestration for a minimum of ten players.
