Come ye faithful, raise the strain (St Kevin)

The tune ‘St Kevin’ was first used to set the words of’ ‘Come ye faithful, raise the strain’ and published in The Hymnary: a Book of Church Song; ed. by W. Cooke & B. Webb; music editor J. Barnby (Novello, 1872). This copy from the 1901 reprint of Church Hymns with Tunes; ed. by Arthur Sullivan (S.P.C.K., 1874). The tune was also used to set the words of ‘Let our choir new anthems raise’.
