The programme for the twenty-seventh International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival 2021 has been announced. The Festival will run in Buxton from 31st July until 7th August and in Harrogate between 8th and 22nd August.
The National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company will present productions of The Mikado (31 July mat & eve, 8 Aug mat, 14 Aug eve, 22 Aug mat); The Pirates of Penzance (1 Aug mat & eve, 4 Aug eve, 15 Aug mat, 18 Aug eve, 22 Aug eve); Patience (2 Aug, 5 Aug, 14 Aug mat, 18 Aug mat, 21 Aug eve); H.M.S. Pinafore (4 Aug mat, 6 Aug, 8 Aug mat, 15 Aug eve, 21 Aug mat).
Charles Court Opera presents Ruddigore (7 Aug mat, 11 Aug eve) and Iolanthe (7 Aug eve, 11 Aug mat).
There will also be performance of The Gondoliers by Trent Opera (3 Aug, 10 Aug); Iolanthe by Peak Opera (9 Aug); The Pirates of Penzance by Brussels Light Opera Company (12 Aug); The Yeomen of the Guard by Forbear! Theatre (13 Aug) Ruddigore by Abbots Langley G&S Society (16 Aug); The Mikado by Ploverleigh Savoy Players (17 Aug); The Grand Duke by SavoyNet Performing Group (19 Aug) and Princes Ida by Bus Pass Opera (20 Aug).
