Over the years the Society has sponsored numerous recordings and performances of Sullivan’s music through the generosity of various donors. Your donations, small or large, are so important to enable us to continue this work and other projects that we would like to pursue.

There are various ways in which you can support our work:

By becoming a Member

Becoming a member entitles you to receive the Society’s Magazine three times a year, receive news of forthcoming performances and the Society’s Festival weekends.

By sponsoring a recording

Among the recent recordings sponsored by the Society are the Grammy-nominated recording of Ivanhoe, The Beauty Stone and two 2 cd sets of Sullivan’s Songs issued on the Chandos label. We have also sponsored recordings of Sullivan’s complete incidental music to The Tempest and Macbeth, The Light of the World and Haddon Hall on the Dutton Epoch label. Future recording projects include a complete recording of Sullivan’s ballet L’Ile enchantée, The Chieftain and The Martyr of Antioch.

The Sullivan Endowment Fund

The Sullivan Endowment Fund was established to provide a home for ongoing donations and as a growing resource for investment in new recordings, productions, performing editions, and other publishing projects. Contributions, small or large, by regular standing order or one-off donations are welcome.

Leaving a legacy

By remembering the Sir Arthur Sullivan Society in your will, you will help ensure that the Society can continue to promote the works of Sir Arthur Sullivan for future generations to enjoy. You can choose to direct your gift towards supporting a particular project such as recordings, publication of scores or books or our Endowment Fund. As a small charity every gift, no matter what the size, is important.

We realize that planning for the future is never easy and you will want to ensure that your family and friends are provided for. However, many people are comforted by knowing that, after they have died, their contribution will carry on helping organizations that they have supported during their lifetime.
